Cellulite massage is a specialized technique designed to target cellulite and reduce fluid retention. By applying specific pressure and using precise movements, and in combination with other treatments, this treatment elimination of excess fluids and toxins, while also reducing the appearance of cellulite.

Vacuum therapy is a non-invasive technique that reduces cellulite and enhances skin appearance. It uses suction to lift skin, release fascia, boost blood flow, and stimulate collagen and elastin production. This leads to reduced cellulite, smoother, firmer skin, and a more contoured, youthful look.

Ultra Cavitation uses high-frequency sound waves to liquify fat, aiding its removal via the lymphatic system. It’s effective for reducing cellulite on thighs, abdomen, and buttocks, smoothing skin texture and enhancing body contouring.

Radio Frequency (RF) technology employs low-frequency waves to heat deep skin layers, stimulating new cell growth and collagen and elastin production. This tightens skin, improves texture, and reduces cellulite for a smoother, firmer appearance.

Wood Therapy uses crafted wooden tools to specifically target cellulite on thighs and buttocks, contouring the body. It releases fascia, stimulates circulation, and aids lymphatic drainage, breaking down fat and supporting detoxification. This method enhances cellulite reduction, especially when combined with other treatments, for a more sculpted physique.

I’ve been to other post-op centers, and while I won’t name names, it’s clear they don’t truly know what they’re doing. Some even try to imitate Carolina Pintos Therapy, but there’s simply no comparison. This is hands down the best place in Houston for post-op care, lymphatic massage, and general therapy for anyone dealing with immune complications. Thank you for being so amazing! 🙂

I had three separate surgical procedures done in late November (2024) one week off of a cycling accident that landed all of my body via my rib cage on a steel railing. I was a hot mess of need: post-op lymphatic drainage, scar tissue work, and tender loving care. With, I think, 15 or 16 sessions behind me so far, I've got enough interactive experience to say that Carolina Pintos Therapy has delivered far above my expectations. Patty, Patricia, and Jaquline have been a DREAM TEAM of expertise, guidance, and personality. I have hung on their every word of advice and tried to follow-through on everything they've suggested or instructed between sessions, including their insistence that I ditch the getting-too-big, soul-sucking faja I got from the surgeon and level up to the Forma Tu Cuerpo line. Do you know how well-designed a faja has to be to make a woman actually feel sexy in it despite her 152 stitches and dog-eared stomach?! Given how well my healing has gone, confetti and cheering, please, for these three amazing women who have paid fierce attention to me, advised me well, and boosted my confidence. I am literally in the best of hands.

I went to Carolina Pintos Therapy after being recommended by my PS for post operative lymphatic messages. I had several sessions with a total of 4 different therapist which were Claudia, Verlene, Jacqauline and Netta which all did an amazing job but after my session with Netta, she was always my first choice. She’s great at what she does and she knows her stuff and not to mention how strong and firm her hands are. She always answered all my questions and I learned something new every time I saw her along with her always giving me tips. I could notice the swelling go down immediately after every session with her. Hands down she’s the best which explains why I always had to book in advance for her since she was always booked.

I LOVE coming to Carolina Pintos!! The newly renovated space is lovely and welcoming. Jaquline is an absolute angel --- she has hands of gold and such a beautiful, warm spirit. She does all my massages and I wouldnt have it any other way. I always feel so refreshed and much looser after she works her magic on my body, which is amazing because I hold a lot of tension and stress. Cant wait to go back!

In November 2024 I started my Lymphatic Therapy due to a medical procedure. The staff at Carolina Pinto is very professional and caring. You feel welcome as soon as you walk in. The owner: Mrs Carolina introduced herself to me and let me know she was there to answer any questions I may have. My Therapist Jasmin displays great concern also about my care. She is an awesome massage therapist, and make me look forward to my visits. Thanks to everyone at Carolina Pinto Massage.

I had my first post partum massage here and this place was so gorgeous and chic! However, I was not a fan of my massage therapist. She was not welcoming, friendly or made me feel relaxed at all. She massaged me with gloves on for the entire 2 hours and used so much pressure that I was sore for the next 2 days. I understand that she needed to use more pressure than usual since I was recommended a deep tissue massage by Carolina but I wish the massage therapist had told me beforehand of what to expect. Also, if a client flinches or says she’s in pain during the session, I would expect them to at least acknowledge it. I would have loved for her to explain what was going on with my body but she was pretty much silent the entire session. I did not like her bedside manners at all and I expected a better service for the price I paid for.The initial consultation with Carolina was great. She assesses your pain and recommends different massages to relieve it. She’s a PT so she has the credentials and is very knowledgeable in her field. I appreciate that she is also mother and was able to relate to her clients.

I came to Carolina Pintos therapy with aches and pains all over my body! I told Verlene all my issues and she immediately began to work her magic!! She truly has the magic touch! I left this place feeling refreshed and pain free. I was so happy and impressed that I scheduled another appointment for next month! Verlene is the BEST ❤️

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: How long are the treatments and how long is the VelaShape III treatments?

A: Each treatment session lasts 50 minutes. If you choose to integrate VelaShape III into your treatment plan, those sessions will also be 50 minutes in duration. For optimal results, we recommend using a combination of different techniques and therapies. VelaShape III, when combined with other treatments such as massage therapy and wood therapy, works synergistically to target cellulite more effectively. This multifaceted approach ensures a more comprehensive treatment, addressing the underlying causes of cellulite and improving skin texture more thoroughly.

Q: Will I see results after one cellulite treatment?

A: While you might see some improvement after just one cellulite treatment, the best results are typically achieved with multiple sessions. We offer a variety of treatments, such as cellulite massage, wood therapy, and more, each designed to target cellulite in different ways. For those looking to maximize their results, we suggest adding the VelaShape III treatment. This advanced technology enhances the effects of other therapies by accelerating fat reduction, tightening the skin, and stimulating collagen production, helping you achieve more noticeable and longer-lasting improvements.

Q: Is there any downtime with any of the treatments?

A: There is no downtime with any cellulite treatment including the VelaShape III machine. You can return to your daily routine immediately after the session.

Q: How many sessions does cellulite treatment take?

A: The number of sessions needed varies based on the severity of the cellulite, the treatment type, and your desired results. On average, a series of 6 sessions is preferred. However, your therapist will create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. For enhanced outcomes, VelaShape III can be integrated into your regimen. This advanced technology boosts the effectiveness of your treatment, helping to reduce cellulite faster and improve skin texture, often requiring fewer overall sessions for noticeable results.

Q: Can a massage really reduce cellulite?

A: Our cellulite treatments incorporate a synergistic blend of vacuum therapy, body slimming massage, ultrasonic cavitation, Radio Frequency (RF), and wood therapy. Body slimming massage, also known as lipo massage, is a specialized component of our comprehensive treatment plan. It is important to note that slimming massage alone will not eliminate cellulite, and traditional deep tissue or Swedish massages have no impact on cellulite reduction.

Q: What is cellulite massage and is it safe or painful?

A: Cellulite massage is a manual technique targeting cellulite and promoting lymphatic drainage, blood circulation, and skin firmness. It is generally safe and can be relaxing, but some pressure may be applied, causing mild discomfort.

Q: What is Radio Frequency (RF) and is it safe or painful?

A: Radio Frequency (RF) is a non-invasive treatment that uses high-frequency waves to heat the skin’s deep layers, promoting collagen production and reducing cellulite appearance. RF treatments are generally safe and well-tolerated, with most clients experiencing minimal discomfort or warmth during the procedure.

Q: What are the side effects of cellulite treatment?

A: Cellulite treatments generally have minimal side effects, which may include temporary redness, swelling, mild bruising, and slight discomfort. These effects usually subside within a few hours. While the VelaShape III machine is an additional cost, it significantly enhances results when combined with other therapy techniques. For optimal outcomes, incorporating VelaShape III into your cellulite treatment is highly recommended. It accelerates skin tightening and cellulite reduction, offering more effective and longer-lasting results.

Q: Can cellulite come back after treatment?

A: While cellulite treatments can significantly reduce its appearance, cellulite can return over time, especially if contributing lifestyle factors such as diet and exercise are not addressed.

Q: What is vacuum therapy and is it safe or painful?

A: Vacuum therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses suction to promote fascia release, stimulate blood circulation, and encourage elastin and collagen production while reducing cellulite appearance. It is generally safe and may cause slight discomfort, but is not considered painful.

Q: What is ultrasonic cavitation and is it safe or painful?

A: Ultrasonic cavitation is a non-invasive treatment using ultrasound waves to target and diminish the size of fat cells, thereby reducing the appearance of cellulite. It is generally safe and painless, though some clients may experience discomfort due to the sound produced by the machine during the procedure.

Q: What is wood therapy and is it safe or painful?

A: Wood therapy is a holistic treatment that uses specially shaped wooden tools to massage and contour the body, targeting cellulite, promoting fascia release, and stimulating blood circulation. It is generally safe and can be relaxing, but some pressure may be applied, causing mild discomfort.

Q: How many VelaShape III sessions do I need?

A: Most patients begin to see noticeable improvements after 3 to 6 sessions with the VelaShape machine, with optimal results typically achieved with 6 sessions or more. The exact number of sessions depends on the treatment area and the severity of the cellulite.

Q: Is VelaShape painful?

A: No, VelaShape III is generally well-tolerated. Patients often describe the sensation as similar to a warm deep tissue massage. Some may feel mild discomfort due to the heat, but this usually subsides after the treatment.
